Identifying the things you love and learning how to let them inspire you into everything you wear is a technique. Legendary Bazaar editor Diana Vreeland once said, "You gotta have style. It is what gets you up in the morning. It is a way of life." As the fashion contributor for The Tribune Review, JoAnne Klimovich Harrop, knows all about style. She is best known for chic ensembles and hats so stylish you'd consider snatching them right off her head. "I wear a hat every day. They are a fun accessory that can finish any look. They also help protect my face from the sun, which is a bonus. I wish more women wore hats because they exude femininity." JoAnne says. "I think Catherine Duchess of Cambridge has created a resurgence in women wanting to wear hats again because she has shown us all how to rock a hat!"
What is your biggest style challenge? "I would say my hips and thighs. I have more weight there than I would like and so I prefer to keep those areas covered with a jacket or sweater. Some form fitting garments are not as fashion friendly on my body-type. I also do not like to expose my arms and shoulders so I don't wear many strapless items", states JoAnne.

Did you have any early influences growing-up that sparkled your interest in clothes/fashion? I attended 12 years of Catholic School in which I was required to wear a uniform everyday so when I got the opportunity to wear anything other than the plaid skirt or blue jumper I went for it. My older sister Paula was fashionable and I would often borrow her clothes for school dances or special occasions.

What is the one thing in your closet you cannot live without? My hat(s).
What is the last clothing item or accessory that you purchased? HAHA..A hat. I have plenty of black hats but I bought another one because it is lighter mesh material - a Fedora that's perfect for spring into summer.
Most stylish movie? "The Devil Wears Prada," Meryl Streep (I am a huge fan of hers) Also, being a fashion writer, I am fascinated by all fashion magazines. They bring style into the world. This movie shows that the fashion world is competitive and it takes hard work.
