Whatever your age, great style is about developing your own unique fashion personality.  We at One Brilliant find it so inspiring to see how others put their looks together. We know that a fabulous wardrobe is not defined by your stage of life. Looking good is all about putting it all together. Our September Style File Profile Angie Mahfood, has a unique fashion personality unlike no other. She inspires us every time we see her. She has cultivated her style into her own distinct brand of chic. "At every age, the ability to listen to your own instincts and to choose what makes you feel comfortable & confident is what gives you a great sense of style. I love picking key items that keep things interesting and chic", says Angie.

What is your biggest style challenge? Finding styles that fit my age and taste and recognizing what works for my personality, figure & lifestyle. I am petite so I like to find pieces that look like they were designed for my body type. If your clothes fit, you are going to wear them more often. I might have to have a piece altered or hemmed, but by doing so it can transform that item from simply good to absolutely perfect, says Angie.

What is the one item in your closet you cannot live without? Jackets, they are so versatile and an easy way to update any outfit. Being petite, it is crucial that a jacket fits me well. I look for shorter, clean, cropped and or fitted styles.

Did you have any influence on your daughter's personal style growing up? My daughter Maria always liked to dress. She has amazing style and when she was young I always encouraged her individuality when it came to style and fashion. Today she is my idol.

Is Pittsburgh becoming a more stylish city? I have always thought Pittsburgh was a stylish city. I used to travel to the downtown area of the city, with my own mother for a day of shopping. Now, I enjoy the individual Boutiques in and around the city.  One Brilliant is my favorite, offering so many choices and fabulous clothes for my body type.

What is your favorite stylish movie?   "Sex in the City".

Angie, we our endlessly inspired by your personal and ageless sense of style. Your passion for life and inspired beauty leaves us breathless, don't ever change!
