Kim has an infectious laugh, her personality lights up a room!   Her style is polished, modern and current.  Kim loves sporting the hottest trends as she has a good awareness of what she wears best. Recently she had the opportunity to showcase some of Pittsburgh premier fashions for the 14th Annual Pittsburgh Fashion Story, where she served as the Honorary Chair.

"Kim Buckley was a natural choice as the Pittsburgh Fashion Story honorary chair due to her commitment to children through her work as a teacher and her involvement with the Vintage Grand Prix supporting children on the autism spectrum. Kim Buckley's passion for supporting children as they grow toward a brighter future brought a fresh vibe to the show and her fashion style supported the fabulous fashions that we showcased that evening," says Jodi Tabano, Director of Development, Partners For Quality Foundation.

What is your biggest style challenge?

"Finding the right shapes and silhouettes for my body type is always the most challenging. With the ever-changing trends you must know what will always work best for your body type," says Kim. I always love the selection at One Brilliant, because they have so many things that flatter my body type.

What is your favorite go to item in your closet?

My favorite go to item in my closet would be anything black. This color always makes me appear thinner, or at least, I feel that way.

Did you enjoy being the Honorary Chair for The Pittsburgh Fashion Story?

I enjoyed being the Honorary Chair for The Pittsburgh Fashion Story immensely. It was an honor and a privilege to be asked to serve on the committee. The people are gracious and fun to be around and most importantly, it is for a charity which is the purpose for the event. I enjoy helping children to grow and learn, I like to know I have made a difference in someone's life. This is what I do for a living.

Do you think Pittsburgh is becoming a more fashionable city?

Yes. Pittsburgh is starting to get into fashion. More and more boutiques are opening in and around the Pittsburgh area. I prefer to shop in small boutiques rather than going to the mall or large department stores. I like to get unique and different items. It is always great to support our local retail and know the owners of the stores.
