The Trend Green: Why We Love It & How To Wear It

Suzanne Mauro

Boulder than black and more unexpected than blue. Green is having its moment. Green is the color of nature and health. It represents growth, nature, money, fertility and safety. Green is also a relaxing color that is easy on the eye and has a healing power to it. It is surprisingly wearable and flattering, especially in rich textures.

Every shade from pale seafoam to rich spruce showed up on the fall 2014/15 fall runway, ensuring you will find the perfect hue for you.

If your skin has cool undertones, opt for blue-based teal, while warm undertones look best in moss with its sunnier cast. Forest green is universally becoming.

We love this green vintage vegan leather jacket by Yest, $118.00 paired with Torn by Ronny Kobo's fabulous pencil skirt $ 258.00 both available at One Brilliant.

Another great piece is this Yest green suede blouse 98.00 available at One Brilliant, pictured below, pair it with a leggin or jean and you can't go wrong.
